Se estableció nuestra amistad, nos sentamos en el suelo a tomar un buen desayuno, que constaba de carne de tortuga, vaca marina, aves de corral, y un pavo asado, preparado por el Padre.
Durante la comida le regalamos una botellita de Pisco Italia (un licor hecho en Pisco, cerca de Lima, a partir de la uva), que, a pesar de muchas tentaciones por abrirlo, lo habíamos reservado para esta ocasión.
Cuando terminó el desayuno, nos propusimos de dirigirnos directamente a Sarayacu, pero como empezaba la lluvia, tuvimos que aplazar el viaje hasta el día siguiente.
